We have confirmed cases of a company conducting business as an agent for AIST in China and Korea, despite not having obtained a patent license from AIST for its photocatalyst technologies.
The company has also confirmed that it sells photocatalyst related products (Mask, antibacterial spray, coating agent, etc.), claiming that it uses technology patented by AIST.
Consumers should beware of purchasing these particular products under the misconception that AIST’s technologies are being used in said products.
