Job Summary and Essential/Desirable Skills and Experience AIST is recruiting researchers with expertise in information engineering or quantum information science to promote R&D of quantum and classical hybrid computing infrastructure with the aim of solving social issues using quantum technology. All applicants are desirable to have expertise in high-performance computing. All applicants are also expected to actively absorb knowledge in relevant fields, and promote interdisciplinary and international R&D integrating different technologies.

Title Research and development of quantum sensing
Job Summary and Essential/Desirable Skills and Experience AIST is recruiting researchers with expertise in at least one of the fields such as physics, chemistry, electronics, material science, solid state chemistry, instrumentation engineering, to promote research and development (R&D) of quantum sensors using diamond nitorgen-vacancy (NV) centers. Title R&D of Quantum hardware components and social implementation of quantum technologies
Job Summary and Essential/Desirable Skills and Experience Permanent positions are open at G-QuAT. The successful candidates will contribute to the R&D activities of quantum hardware components in quantum computers and sensors. The candidates are expected to have a strong research record and have strong motivation to collaborate with industry and academic partners, for social implementation of quantum technologies, including research of needs in industry and development of seeds in the field.
The candidates are also expected to plan and carry out their own quantum-related research and development based on the G-QuAT equipment, aiming at future social implementation of it. Researcher who has expertise in fields such as superconducting quantum device and circuit, device-fabrication process, low temperature measurement, and microwave-electronics, and who promotes R&D of superconducting quantum device and process, by using AIST superconducting quantum circuit fabrication facility (Qufab).
It is desirable (but not a strict requirement) that applicants have experience of R&D of superconducting quantum devices and process, and management at company, research institutes and university, etc.
