Title Research on Mechanical Recycling Technology through Material Analysis and/or Process evaluation
Job Summary and Essential/Desirable Skills and Experience We are looking for researchers who can practice research and development through "material analysis and process evaluation" related to plastic material recycling and are willing to work with companies to implement the results in society.
Specifically, we are looking for researchers with advanced expertise and experience in analytical techniques for organic materials (especially resin and rubber materials), materials and process informatics, molding and manufacturing processes, and process evaluation in order to develop material diagnostic techniques (quantitative quality evaluation techniques) necessary for grading recycled materials and new processes for mastering their use.

Title Research on development of polymer materials through a data-driven approach
Job Summary and Essential/Desirable Skills and Experience Research Institute for Sustainable Chemistry is advancing data-driven materials and process development with the aim of the enhancement and societal implementation of organic and biomaterial polymers, such as resins, rubber, and cellulose. For example, we are pushing forward the research and development of process informatics technologies that incorporate in-line analysis into development of cellulose/polymer composite materials.
