On June 12, 2024, a delegation of the Luxembourg Economic Mission, led by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Guillaume of Luxembourg, visited AIST Tsukuba Center. The delegation of around 60 persons was made up of government leaders headed by H.E. Mr. Lex Dellès, Minister of the Economy, SME, Energy and Tourism, as well as representatives from Luxembourg businesses.

The delegation was given introductions of the Cyber Physical Security Research Center, the Advanced Healthcare Service Research Laboratory, and ZenmuTech, an AIST Solutions startup. The visitors subsequently toured G-QuAT (Global Research and Development Center for Business by Quantum-AI technology) and the Science Square.

In the discussions which took place in the AIST President’s office, there were expressions of appreciation from His Royal Highness, as well as conversations regarding the state of Japan’s national research institutes and their technological capabilities in areas including quantum.
