Tsuyoshi Hoshino* Visits FREA

On April 11, 2016, Mr. Tsuyoshi Hoshino, who is the Parliamentary Vice-Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, Parliamentary Vice-Minister of Cabinet Office, and Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Reconstruction, visited FREA After viewing an outline of various research themes at the Demonstration field and Energy Control Building, explanations were given on energy storage and usage technology at the Hydrogen Energy Carrier Demonstration Building and Pure Hydrogen Experiment Building. In addition, explanations were given on R&D, tests and evaluation for the large-scale power conditioner in the Smart System Research Facility that opened in April this year. Moreover, Hoshino visited thin crystal silicon solar cells research laboratory as well. Finally Seeds Support Program was explained.
