13th Renewable Energy 2018 International Exhibition & Special Session in “Grand Renewable Energy 2018 International Conference”
♦13th Renewable Energy 2018 International Exhibition
• FREA presented achievements in research and development concerning renewable energy and the reconstruction support projects Program for Promoting Technologies Invented by Industry in Disaster Areas in Tohoku. Around 1,200 people visited the booth over the three days, exceeding last year’s numbers.
• At the exhibition booth, Fukushima Prefecture and Koriyama City presented their activities upon renewable energy.
• A total of 21,881 people attended the exhibition over the three days, making it a major success.
♦Special Session in “Grand Renewable Energy 2018 International Conference”
• In the AIST Special Session, with the theme of increasing RE penetration beyond conventional limits with advanced DER capabilities, three speakers from FREA, two from Europe and the United States were presented upon realization of a smart society with DER facility operation from renewable energy, the problem to break through the current situation and what challenge is necessary in the future, with approximately 110 people in attendance.
