The Fukushima Renewable Energy Institute, AIST (FREA) held the FREA open campus on July 27, Saturday.
This year, the sixth event since the inauguration of FREA in 2014, despite the rainy season, many visitors came.
We provided a variety of menus such as the lab tour of research facilities and the various exhibitions, crafts and science games considered by researchers. We hope the visitors enjoyed their experience in FREA to help better understanding for science and technology relating to renewable energy.
In addition, companies and universities collaborating with FREA, local organizations such as schools and government agencies participated in the event, with introducing their efforts and business.
FREA will continue to strengthen the relationship with local communities and to contribute to revitalize the affected area by developing new industries and human resources through innovative renewable energy technologies created in Fukushima.
See you next year!
