Hiroaki Ishizuka, Chairman of New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO), visited Fukushima Renewable Energy Institute, AIST (FREA).
On Friday August 10, 2018, Hiroaki Ishizuka, Chairman of New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO), toured FREA.
First, Tetsuhiko Kobayashi, Vice-President of AIST spoke Welcome remarks, and Kinya Sakanishi, Deputy Director-General, FREA, spoke introductory overviews of FREA. Next, Photovoltaic Power Team and Shallow Geothermal and Hydrogeology Team gave presentations of NEDO projects performed in FREA followed by laboratory tour in Demonstration Field, Smart System Research Facility and the Energy Control Building.
At the end of the tour,FREA members exchanged information and opinion with delegates of NEDO.
